RSUK AGM 2020 – Urgent information

Jai Mataji to all Rajput Samaj UK members and family. Firstly and most importantly I hope you are all safe and well. It will come as no surprise to members that the RSUK Executive committee and Board of Trustees has, based upon best advice, made the decision to cancel the Annual general meeting schedule for last week of April every year. This decision being taken on the recent changes in the Convid-19 (corona virus) contagion around the world. RSUK is mindful as to its duty of care to its Members. We have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely in order to be ready to make adjustments for upcoming RSUK AGM that shall be convene before 30th April as per constitution. Recently however it is clear that further measures are required to support the global effort against this pandemic and we have made difficult decision to begin the process to postpone this year’s AGM. This is based on current government guidelines that we formally announce 2020 RSUK Annual General Meeting has now been postponed indefinitely.   We will send final Accounts for 2019-20 along with all annual reports in due course.   The current situation with COVID-19 has further exposed us in that we simply do not have any insight on how many of our members fall under the vulnerable groups? We would like to request to have more information and prepare to help as much as possible. Please note that interim arrangements as announced on 28th August 2019 with some further changes will continue for at least the foreseeable future.   The committee: Janaksinh Jhala – President Jaydeepsinh Rana – Treasurer Digvijaysinh Jadeja – Asst.
